Development of the next generation of TimeSuite has been announced.
PMP Design owner Geoff Shield said "This next generation of TimeSuite will build on the solid foundation of the current version of TimeSuite and adds features usually only found in enterprise level systems available today."
"Development of the new system is now well underway. We don't have a final release date yet, but it is not far away."
"This release of TimeSuite has been designed with a much larger range of users in mind than the current version. The feature set has been designed with this in mind. "
Some of the features which the next generation TimeSuite adds are:
- Fully Web Enabled;
- Projects and tasks can be quickly generated using unlimited user defined templates;
- Timesheets can be approved by internal and external users based on unlimited user defined approval paths;
- Documents, projects and invoices can also be approved by a similar process;
- TimeSuite supports fully user defined workflows for all document types;
- Tasks within a project can now have unlimited subtasks;
- Security is significantly upgraded with the introduction of full role based features;
- The ability to model the relationships between every person and organisation that your enterprise deals with;
- Full document management system;
- All features are now modular and can be added individually;
- Tasks can now be scheduled based on user defined scheduling rules; and
- External users (eg clients and subcontractors) can now be given access toTimeSuite to check their accounts, enter timesheets etc.
Pricing has not yet been announced, however PMP Design have indicated that there will be a large range of plans to suit most organisations.
There will be a free version aimed at sole traders and small enterprises. This will include all features of TimeSuite. There will be limits on the numbers of users and projects that can be managed by this version.
For other organisations, Geoff said that "Pricing has not been fully determined at this point, however we are aiming at around $3 per user for entry level modules like timesheet tracking."
