| July 17 2006 | | Track your projects and resources online | PMP Design has released a new web based system allowing any project based consultancy to keep track of all projects, tasks, personnel and timesheets.
The System is designed to aid in the tracking and reporting of most of the daily functions required of a typical project based consulting organisation including:
- Resources;
- Contacts;
- Tasks;
- IT Support issues;
- Timesheets; and
- Invoicing.
The architecture of the system is optimised so that a central database is used to store all data. Standard web based technology is used to make the data available to any number of users.
Access to the system is based on the user being assigned secure logins for authentication with group roles then being used to authorise (and thus dictate) which areas of the system they can access.
Application areas
This system is specifically designed to function in the following organisational areas
- Address book;
- Management of personnel, tasks assigned, status of each task, hours / ancillary costs etc for projects;
- Tasks / Issues applicable to the organisation as a whole, especially IT Support issues; and
- Individual timesheets
The system is available as a basic module which can then be customised depending on individual requirements.
